Labuan Water Issues

LABUAN, Sept 5 (Bernama) -- Labuan's water woes will be a thing of the past when an undersea water pipeline from Beaufort Sabah costing RM365 million is completed by the end of next year.

What a relieved. But i believe this year aidilfitri, people in Labuan will suffer a dramatic deficiency of water. It will be terrible. Even my family said that maybe this year, there will be now Open house since water problem is so severe in labuan.

But it was a relieved to hear that goverment are doing something ( or at least promise something to the citizen). Is this a political agenda? We will see it later.

I hope next year, the long suffering of Labuanese since 10 years ago willl dissapear.

Anyway, i am taking my end posting senior exam for Obs, Gynae, Neonatolgy and Pediatric this monday. i'm so stressful right now.

HIV Issue

Do you realize that sometime people say that HIV is good for punishment for those who commit sin (eg: pre-marital sex). This is total rubbish. No disease is created as punishment. As you know that HIV was created by the mistake of scientific community in creating a vaccine for other disease ( read yourself), then how can HIV is a punishment? We have the right to punish?

No. HIV is not a disease that cannot be treated. It can. Not yet. I believe that someday, they will found the cure for that disease. I am positive on this one. haha.

Why women cannot marry more than one?

I raised this issues earlier this year. I don't have definite explanation on this one. However, evidence based medicine described that there is increase risk of getting PIH and Pre-Eclampsia in women who have history of pregnancy with different partner. (Simply put, pregnant with second husband increase risk of getting that disease).

Maybe it is true that women cannot marry more that one. Because they received paternal gene rather than giving during sexual intercourse.

Even baby is considered to be parasite in women's womb. But that is just a joke. But by observation, it is really acting like a parasite.

The only parasite that we love in this world. Loveable parasite.

Astro Remote volume not responding

I have been looking around for solution when my Astro beyond remote start having problem where it does not want to control the volume of my astro anymore.

The strange thing is, the remote seem fine and only the mute and volume won't respond.

After realizing that the remote cost around rm250 to be replaced, I start thinking that this is not an ordinary remote control.

After a few minutes of research (only) I found out that this remote can be programmed to be synchronize with our television.

Hmmm. So the remote problem must be cause by it some programming error.

Turn out of you have similar problem like this, all you had to do is to press OK button with volume down until it bleep 4 times then it will be ok. This method canceled the volume control for the television ( meaning that you can only control the tv volume not the decoder).

Later I found out that if you want, you can use your tv only volume to control the astro thus no hassle to have 2 remote at the same time.

A Guide to Apply for Master in Pathology (Mpath)
1. Make up your mind. I've seen a few of my friends who apply for this pathway and get confused before it begin. Ask yourself, are you really interested in Pathology? Do you know what pathology is? Do you know what kind of work are you going to do in Pathology.
Most of the time, people thought pathology MO or specialist were all just sitting down drinking coffee and chit chat all day long. No work to do. Think again. The best thing to do is to get yourself into the department itself. Work as a pathology MO first, in a few…

Becoming a medical officer in Malaysia: Are you still a real doctor?

To recap from my previous post, a person must completed 5-6 years study in medical school, pass their professional exam, enter 2 years house officer training program, pass their exam and completed their logbooks, then a person can now be called a fully registered Medical Officer / Medical Doctor.

A Journey of a Junior Medical Officer

After 7 or 8 years experience, a house officer will be given a full registration under Malaysian Medical Council. This registration process is a lengthy process which takes up months before it will be completed. Most doctors will apply for full registration 4 months before they finish their house officer training program. The registration will be processed only if all the criteria has been fulfilled by the house officer which includes log book, review by a board of specialist, no disciplinary action recorded, and other paper work stuff that need to be settled. A full registration means that the doctor now can practice as a doctor independently. They can wo…
