Another activity in Canselor Hall

1. One uncle suddenly stop his car in front of me, my gf and my 2 other friends this evening asking the direction of Chancellor Hall UMS. We pointed him to the right direction. At that time, i realize that there is another activity was held in Chancellor Hall UMS which i did not aware of. I always did not know what is happening around UMS even though i am an UMS student.

2. Tonight, there is Malam Muhibbah or something like Chinese New year celebration in UMS. A lot of stars are coming. Nicholas Teo ( i dunno who are this person), SHE ( i love this trio group, cute), and i heard that actress that starred in Mulan and 14 blades, the one with the big eye. She is cute too but i don't like her though. The point is, so many celebrity coming and i did not aware of the event. So disappointing.

3. Now i remember, one of my friend said that he has 4 free tickets for that event. To add into my disappointment, he said that this afternoon, he knock my room door when i was sleeping to give me the free tickets, but i was sleeping obviously. Sigh.

4. Anyway, to bring an issues for discussion, some UMS student are opposing the 'abuse' of chancellor hall ums for event like this. Starting from Malaysian Film Festival, to Micheal Learns to Rock Concert, now the CNY event. They said that the hall is specifically for graduation day. haha. That is bullshit. The only big hall in Sabah is UMS Chancellor hall. If you want to put them all in an open stage in Padang Merdeka bolehlah!. Or this people only want celebrity to be in Peninsular Malaysia. Sabah live 'atas pokok' kan. Hoho. This is sensitive.

they only want everyone to pray in mosque or surau and wait for the day of destruction and punishment.

We should cheer our life a little bit. There is no wrong enjoying our life given by god. God is so kind to gave us a beautiful life, we should appreciate it.

I'm OFF topic.

  1. haha.
aku ndak pro, ndak jugak kontra.

    tapi kalau menurut aku sebaiknya,
dewan tersebut akan lebih molek sekiranya digunakan untuk perkara akademik. mungkin impression lebih 'sacral'.

tapi kalau cuma utk grad, memang membazir la kan buat dewan mahal2.

Astro Remote volume not responding

I have been looking around for solution when my Astro beyond remote start having problem where it does not want to control the volume of my astro anymore.

The strange thing is, the remote seem fine and only the mute and volume won't respond.

After realizing that the remote cost around rm250 to be replaced, I start thinking that this is not an ordinary remote control.

After a few minutes of research (only) I found out that this remote can be programmed to be synchronize with our television.

Hmmm. So the remote problem must be cause by it some programming error.

Turn out of you have similar problem like this, all you had to do is to press OK button with volume down until it bleep 4 times then it will be ok. This method canceled the volume control for the television ( meaning that you can only control the tv volume not the decoder).

Later I found out that if you want, you can use your tv only volume to control the astro thus no hassle to have 2 remote at the same time.

Master in Pathology (Malaysia): A Guide To Apply.

Master In Pathology: My Experience Entrance Exam That was not my first attention on trying to write such post. My intention was to share on how to get into that entrance exam in the first place. So here it is. A step by step guide on how to get yourself into the entrance exam.
A Guide to Apply for Master in Pathology (Mpath)
1. Make up your mind. I've seen a few of my friends who apply for this pathway and get confused before it begin. Ask yourself, are you really interested in Pathology? Do you know what pathology is? Do you know what kind of work are you going to do in Pathology.
Most of the time, people thought pathology MO or specialist were all just sitting down drinking coffee and chit chat all day long. No work to do. Think again. The best thing to do is to get yourself into the department itself. Work as a pathology MO first, in a few…

Becoming a medical officer in Malaysia: Are you still a real doctor?

To recap from my previous post, a person must completed 5-6 years study in medical school, pass their professional exam, enter 2 years house officer training program, pass their exam and completed their logbooks, then a person can now be called a fully registered Medical Officer / Medical Doctor.

A Journey of a Junior Medical Officer

After 7 or 8 years experience, a house officer will be given a full registration under Malaysian Medical Council. This registration process is a lengthy process which takes up months before it will be completed. Most doctors will apply for full registration 4 months before they finish their house officer training program. The registration will be processed only if all the criteria has been fulfilled by the house officer which includes log book, review by a board of specialist, no disciplinary action recorded, and other paper work stuff that need to be settled. A full registration means that the doctor now can practice as a doctor independently. They can wo…
